Live your life!

I never liked poems. Very rarely understood the real message a poet wanted to convey in his poem. I have never rhymed except for the one time in school where I successfully rhymed cat with rat, bat and fat! This time, during one of the Liberal Arts examination, we were expected to write a poem! A poem not less than 12 lines! Well, only an exam could have got it out of me. A poem. A 16 lined poem that actually rhymes! 🙂 Though not very poetic, I’m still very proud of this one. Here it is 🙂

At times you’re happy,

At times you’re sad,

At times you feel miserable,

At times you go mad.  

Sometimes you love it,

Sometimes you hate it, every bit by bit.

You may never know when it’ll take a hit,

But in the end it’ll all perfectly fit.  

This is what we call “Life”,

It isn’t always fair,

Sometimes it’ll stab you with a knife,

Sometimes it’ll give you a kiss of fresh air.  

All you need to do,

Is tackle your worry and woe.

Inner Peace will then knock on your door,

And you will love your life even more!
